product description

Enhance Plastic Welding Precision: Achieve Consistent and Strong Seams with Ease Using the Welding Device

Crafting your own glue-on horseshoes through plastic welding a customized base plate with compatible adhesive tabs offers the distinct advantage of tailoring the horseshoe to achieve an optimal fit on the hoof, perfectly addressing the unique needs of each individual horse.

In the case of a glue-on horseshoe, the plastic welding seams between the base plate and the adhesive tabs are of paramount importance.

Uniform and thus stable weld seams are essential to prevent the horse from prematurely losing the glue-on horseshoe. Of course there are many other possible causes for losing a glue-on shoe. If you wish to learn more about this topic, take a look at the product description of Wolf Busch glue-on tabs. However, at this point, the primary focus is on the weld seams, as our welding device was precisely developed for this purpose.

Our welding device is available in two different versions: the standard variant, which can be conveniently mounted on the hoof stand, among other options, and the slightly more economical mini variant. Both have been designed for use with a Steinel hot air device. That's why each delivery of both versions includes a modified reducing nozzle.

For detailed information on the delivery scope, assembly of the welding devices, and, of course, plastic welding with our welding devices, please refer to our comprehensive product description.

Whether you are a farrier or a horse owner: In order to avoid injuries to humans and horses, it is important that you read and follow our safety instructions when using our products. Please also note the manufacturer's safety instructions for your hot air device during plastic welding and take the necessary safety precautions for welding. This includes personal protective equipment, good workplace organization, and especially adequate ventilation when welding with plastics. Ideally, work in an outdoor environment.
