Wolf Busch® "Basic" – Adhesive Tabs at a Budget-Friendly Price
You may already know the principle of our cost-optimized version from our Basic composite horseshoe ; now we are taking the same approach one step further. We have redesigned the popular Wolf Busch® adhesive tabs with the goal of offering a more affordable alternative while maintaining the reliable functionality our customers value.
Size Selection of the New Basic Adhesive Tabs
Unfortunately, the Basic tabs are not yet available in all sizes. Together with our tooling department, we are currently working on completing the production tools for additional sizes. In the long term, however, the cost-optimized adhesive tabs are intended to be available in all sizes.
Even though not all sizes are currently available in the more affordable Basic version, we would already like to provide you with the complete size recommendation for Duplo horseshoes and Wolf Busch® adhesive tabs. If the required tab size is not yet available in the Basic version, please take a look at the selection of Wolf Busch® tabs.
- Adhesive tab size 1 for horseshoes from size 50 mm to 70 mm
- Adhesive tab size 2 for horseshoes from size 70 mm to 90 mm
- Adhesive tab size 3 for horseshoes from size 90 mm to 114 mm
- Adhesive tab size 4 for horseshoes from size 114 mm to 134 mm
- Adhesive tab size 5 for horseshoes from size 134 mm to 162 mm
- Adhesive tab size 6 for horseshoes from size 162 mm to 198 mm

| Adjustment | Please note that not only the horseshoe, but also the "Basic Tabs" may need to be adjusted to the hoof. Check the height of the "Basic" Tabs and ensure the correct positioning on the hoof. If the tab is placed not only on the hoof wall but also on the coronary band , the adhesive bond will become unstable. |
| Compatible Horseshoes | With the exception of the Duplo Arizona , the adhesive tabs can generally be combined with all pure urethane and composite horseshoes from our range. They are compatible with standard and extra shoes as well as models made from regranulate . Depending on the plastic compound and temperature, it may be necessary to adjust the hot air device temperature and rolling speed during welding. |
