Shock-Absorbing Hoof Pads for Horseshoes
Individually Adjustable for Front and Hind Horseshoes
Although, as a manufacturer of alternative horseshoes with a synthetic covering, our main focus is naturally on our own products, it is also important to us to consider horses that are shod with traditional steel shoes.
We developed our Protective Insoles specifically for use with steel shoes. The hoof pads provide shock absorption and are available with either an open sole area or a mesh sole. The integrated frog support promotes circulation, which in turn may have a positive effect on hoof horn growth.
"Universal" Hoof Pad
The hoof pads are available in two different hardness levels and for horseshoe sizes 0 to 6. To make the two versions easy to distinguish, they are colour-coded: the yellow hoof pad is made from a slightly harder material, while a slightly softer material is used for the blue version. Both versions can be individually adjusted and are suitable for both front and hind horseshoes.
"KC" Hoof Pad
In addition to the Universal shape, a version specifically designed for Kerckhaert Comfort front horseshoes in sizes 0 and 1 is also available. Both the nail holes and the recesses for the quarter clips are precisely matched to the Kerckhaert Comfort horseshoe. The KC hoof pad is made from the slightly softer material.
The hoof pad for Kerckhaert Comfort shoes is currently not available in Canada. Please contact us so that we can find the best and fastest solution for you if needed.
