Nailless Shoeing

Our composite horseshoe is designed as a nailed horseshoe. However, you can apply our glue-on tabs or cast hooks to partly or completely use our horse shoes without nailing.

If the hoof wall is damaged and the horseshoe cannot be nailed or if you don't want to use a nailed hoof protection by conviction, you can use one of our tried and tested glue-on systems.

If the hoof capsule has to be immobilized because of a therapeutic indication, you can also use cast hooks in combination with a cast bandage.

The correct application of nailless products in combination with the Duplo Composite Horseshoe is relatively easy. Nevertheless, any hoof protection should be applied by a person who has the necessary knowledge of and competence in treating and preparing hooves.
